Third-party portal fees vs. keeping 100% on M-Pesa

Compare what booking portals take from every stay with MakaoYetu direct booking, then see everything included in one system below.

Third-Party Booking Portals

  • 15% to 20% commission taken on every stay: thousands of KES lost every month.
  • Payout delays and foreign processing: your money held for days by overseas platforms.
  • No direct Safaricom settlement: guests pay through detours or card rails you do not control.

Pioneer Host Tier

  • 0% Booking Commission: 100% of guest money to your M-Pesa Paybill
  • KES 50 / unit / month (subsidized founder rate)
  • All features and tools fully unlocked with no hidden add-on fees.
